Originally from the DC area, Rula brings a foundation of classic strong Pilates. She certified and trained back east with Balanced Body, while working and managing various studios in both Northern Virginia and Detroit. After moving to LA, she added to her Pilates education - learning faster and stronger styles for serious enthusiasts.
Rula has a love for alignment, without sacrificing a class's killer pace and sweat. Pilates is her favorite method of exercise, as it carried her through a painless pregnancy and delivery. When she's not doing the Series of 5, she's walking her favorite Shiba Inu pup, summering in southern Spain or baking cookies (it's all about moderation right?!). Rula's classes are strong, sweaty, fun and filled with good music.
